Are you looking for a routine of no equipment workouts to help keep you in shape during this social distancing period? You’ve come to the right place!

Okay, let me be honest here right off the bat: This blog post was totally born out of a whiny complaint.

If I could, I would trade these no equipment workouts in for access to all the machines at my local gym.

I am SUPER bummed that my local gym closed due to coronavirus concerns, which I absolutely understand the need for.

But I was just getting back into the swing of working out regularly, 5 days a week! That’s a big deal for me.

I had been out of the gym routine for – well, let’s just be kind and say “a while”.

At least once a day now I find myself thinking that I would love to hit the gym, and then I remember that I can’t. And then I don’t work out.

That has got to stop.

There’s no reason, in 2020, that I shouldn’t be able to work out without access to a gym.

My main problem is that I need to have someone tell me what to do.

I’m NOT at all creative when it comes to thinking up some workout moves. At the gym you just walk up to a machine and the diagram tells you what move to do and what muscles it targets.

So in order to fix this problem, I’ve rounded up some no equipment workouts to follow at home.

How you incorporate these workouts into a routine is up to you, and will likely depend on how many days per week you’d like to work out, for how long, and what areas of your body you’re trying to target.

2 Week No Equipment Workouts

I’ve organized them into a two-week workout schedule, with some kind of exercise 5 days a week, which is how I plan to follow them.

If you prefer to work out 3 days a week for a longer period of time, you could easily tack on the cardio and abs to the other MWF workouts.

Personally, all this social distancing makes me feel antsy and like I’d prefer to get a little bit of movement going on more days of the week.

For the days that have more than one video, I tried my best to choose two from the same YouTuber for the sake of consistency.

I also think that 2 weeks worth of different workout videos is the right amount to strike a balance between staving off boredom and being able to become familiar with each workout routine.
